How to measure

for your bracelet length

Necklaces come in a variety of lengths, each creating a distinct look and adding personality to your outfit. Knowing your ideal necklace length can elevate your outfit and flatter your neckline. While visiting a jeweler for professional sizing is recommended, here's a guide to measure your neck at home to get a good starting point:

What you’ll need:

  • Flexible measuring tape

  • String or thin cord

  • Ruler

  • Optional: Bracelet Length Chart

  • For an accurate measurement, sit down and relax your arm with your hand resting on a flat surface, palm facing up.

  • Gently wrap the measuring tape around the narrowest part of your wrist. This is usually just above your wrist bone. The tape should fit snug but comfortable, not too loose or constricting. If you don't have measuring tape, use a string or thin cord. Wrap it around your wrist as described and mark the spot where the ends meet with a pen.

  • Lay the string or cord flat on a ruler to measure the distance between the marks in centimeters or millimeters.

  • Remember, most bracelets should fit comfortably, not tightly. A good rule of thumb is to add 1.5 - 2.5 cm (½ - 1 inch) to your wrist measurement to account for clasp size and comfort.

  • Once you have your wrist measurement in centimeters or millimeters, consult the bracelet size chart below to find the corresponding bracelet size.

tips

  • The type of bracelet you choose can influence sizing. Chain link bracelets tend to drape more loosely than bangles, so you might want to size down slightly for a chain link style.

  • The best bracelet size is the one that feels comfortable on your wrist. If you're between sizes, it's usually better to go up for better comfort.

  • Do you prefer your bracelets to fit snug or loose? Consider your personal style when making your final decision.
